Its activities include: a regular Newsletter communicating news and events about activities throughout the province, organizing educational opportunities on topics such as: elder abuse, family caregivers, day programs, volunteers, multicultural issues and many more, supporting research activities through letters of support, linking researchers with participants, and participating itself. It is a member of the Group of Nine, a consultative body for the ministers of the Seniors Secretariat through which is has in the past presented on various issues to provincial cabinet ministers.
